Bought this on a whim and love it! Game play is intuitive, graphics are old school arcade and music is epic! If you were a fan of the arcade classic 1942 this is a game for you.

I was excited for this game because of the older graphics and world war 2 theme, but was disappointed. The controls arent that smooth, you cannot replay levels and this game is extremely difficult! I could not get past the first boss. I like a tough challenge but I feel the difficulty is due to poor design and game engine. Had potential, but a lot of tweaking would need to be done for me to give this game a second chance

The game is fun on the most part but alot of crash i would give it 4 but alot of crashing please fix and you will get your 5

This is a fun and well made game. It needs more levels and the ability to replay or choose which levels you want to fly again. Lastly the final boss of this game is horrible, once you kill his engines the game drops a machine gun upgrade. This is useless as not only is it in a place that makes you vulnerable but it is also pointless since your plane is too beat up to make any use of it. Other than that fun game. Well worth it.

This is a great action game. The gameplay and art are superb.

Its a fun shooter, but you should allow users to replay levels to gain more medals. Crashes too.

Game is too short, and you are severely crippled during gameplay unless you buy in game credits.

This is a fantastic bullet-hell type game. Unlike some of the other posters here, I think the controls work well and the difficulty level is appropriate. I have also played through the whole game (except the recently added mission) without resorting to in-app purchases, so it is definitely possible. I am also impressed with the recent update. The developers have made a excellent game even better.

Its a fun, entertaining game for the price.. The only problem I have with it is, after every mission restarts you must get all of your power ups, weapons over again.. A bit annoying, other than this, great game to pass the time..

This game is decent and passes the time, its lacking graphics and more voice over. 99 cents is a fair price. Enjoy

This game worked only once now it crashes every time after starting.

It looks like it is good game, but some of the graphics is not that high res. It has a tendancy to crash repeatedly -- It did for me 4 times before the first game, and 3 times trying to play the second level. It looks like a 1942 clone -- but they use the collecting of crosses to unlock things -- which you can also buy if you dont want to do it the hard way. An all to common method of paying for free games. Not sure it works here until the stability issue is handled. The crashes add frustrasion that overwhelms the nostalgic shooter fun that was intended.

Waste of money.

I appreciate the look of the planes and the characters. Its nicely balanced for a casual game. I have a number of iOS 194x shooters-at the moment this is my favorite. As an aside, Ive had no stability issues over several sessions on an iPad 2 and an iPhone 5.
